ADULT LESSONS WITHOUT A SCHOOL CERTIFICATE (GREEN CARD) ARE PRIVATE ONE ON ONE WITH AN INSTRUCTOR. WE ARE HAPPY TO WORK WITH YOU WEEK DAYS BEFORE 1:00 PM. ALL CARS HAVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS AND DUAL CONTROLS.

**Areas outside of our normal service will have a mileage fee added.

Classroom sessions are on Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. You need to attend 8 sessions.

These sessions will cover the theory portion of driving. Student must provide their own transportation to and from Hancock and Sons Driving School for these sessions. The price for classroom is subject to change if attending a location other than the Portsmouth location.

Behind-The-Wheel sessions are Monday-Friday afternoons after school, unless otherwise noted. The classes last for 7 days with 1 hour and 40-minute sessions each day. Sessions include both driving and observation. Students are picked up and returned for these sessions.

DRIVER TRAINING SCHOOLSTUDENT IN-CARINSTRUCTION RECORD (COVID-19) Effective July 2, 2020, until the end of Phase Three of the easing of certain temporary restrictionsdue to COVID-19, or unless sooner amended, or rescinded, driver training schools must use minimum periods of daily instruction and performance assessment of in-cartraining as established by the state for Juveniles and Adults. During COVID-19, only one 50-minute period of driving within 24 hours. DMV does not have the authority to amend this requirement.
